BUILT-INvisible® home entertainment system, the wires,
amplifiers, Acoustimass® module – even the speakers if you
desire – are installed into the framework of your home just
like electrical wiring or plumbing. You get a neat, clean
installation that eliminates component clutter and
confusion.

Where do you
want sound?
A typical home
installation begins with a “main” entertainment room for
home theater and music. Popular locations are the living
room, family room, or finished basement room. “Secondary”
music rooms can be anywhere you like in up to 14 different
locations, including outdoors. Once you know where you want
sound, we can help you put together the system that best
meets your needs and budget.
The main room
 A
Lifestyle® BUILT-INvisible system offers you the flexibility
to customize. Begin by choosing one of three available
Lifestyle® media centers: two with different levels of
storage capacity for the
uMusic™ intelligent playback system, that allow you to
rediscover your CD collection in a whole new way.
Next, add surround
sound speakers.
Choose from a variety of elegant on-wall cube designs,
or flush-mounted in-wall models – including our new ADAPTiQ®
in-wall speakers. They’re attuned to work specifically with
the
ADAPTiQ audio calibration system, standard in all
Lifestyle® BUILT-INvisible systems.
 The
Acoustimass® module will be installed completely out of
sight above the ceiling or beneath the floor. Its innovative
design allows it to deliver powerful movie sound effects and
robust lower musical notes – vented into the room through a
barely noticeable grate. Yet the sound will seem to surround
you rather than emanate from its hidden locale.
The amplifier that
powers the system is usually installed in the basement near
your electric service panel or in a closet – out of sight,
yet accessible should it ever need service.
Secondary
rooms and outdoor areas
For secondary rooms,
we recommend Virtually Invisible® 191 speakers indoors. Each
pair comes with built-in
 enclosures
for full-range stereo sound, constructed to fit in the space
behind a wall. All you see are the flush speaker grilles,
which can be painted or papered to blend with your décor.
And we offer a full selection of outdoor speakers to use on
your deck or patio, by the pool or even out in the yard.
