What: Livewire acquires Home Media's business assets

When: March 23, 2011 will begin a new era of Home Technology Made Simple in Central Virginia. Home Media's doors will close and Livewire welcomes new clients.

Why: After 30 years in the consumer electronics business and 16 years at Home Media, Ray Lepper (Home Media's president) is ready for a change. Read Ray's email to Home Media clients. He's been looking for a way to preserve what they've built and for their customers to continue to have a reliable resource for making technology simple and hassle free.

We've reached an agreement for Livewire to buy Home Media's business assets. Several of Home Media's employees, including their technicians will become employees of Livewire. This means that the history and knowledge of Home Media clients' systems will remain intact and allow their clients to continue to have their systems supported by people they know and trust.

What Does This Mean To You?

There will be continuity. We have many of Home Media's people who already know you and your system.

You'll call a new phone number when you need something. On Wednesday March 23, Home Media will go off-line and Livewire will be up and running with the Home Media client database and ready to pick up where we left off. Important Points:

Enhanced Service and Support (ESS) clients: Livewire will continue to honor your ESS program as a courtesy through your current expiration date with your renewal of at least 1 year. We look forward to hearing from you.

Home Media Security Customers: Livewire uses the same great central station you're used to (Security Central). The transition will be seamless and require nothing on your part. Questions are welcome anytime!

Warranties: Livewire will be happy to evaluate any warranty issues you have and we'll work with you to minimize out of pocket expenses. We want your business and appreciate the opportunity to work with you!
