Henry Clifford founded Livewire in 2001 to meet the growing demand for technologically integrated homes and businesses. Through hard work, honesty, and quality craftsmanship, Livewire has become the premiere technology integrator in Central Virginia. Livewire’s installation and service techs have years of experience and a wide range of technological, construction, and electronic certifications.   • Follow-Through: We make ourselves available to you for any service you might need down the road. This includes training, technical updates, and more.
  • Demonstration: We run quality assurance tests to ensure that everything works properly. Next, we’ll train you on any of the new devices you’ve installed or the tools necessary for controlling them. At the end of this stage, your project is complete.
  • Delivery: We present you with a detailed design and proposal, as well as a project agreement before getting to work. Installation is also included in this step.
  • Discovery: We meet with you and help you determine your needs and the scale and scope of your particular project.

Field Technical Trainer

Job Summary:

The Field Technical Trainer is responsible for the day-to-day duties of a lead technician while overseeing the technical development of the production field staff.

Service Support Engineer

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational efforts to effectively manage clients and technicians in the production environment. Maintains and updates workflow, tools, documentation and procedures. Problem solving and investigations will be a constant theme of your work, and the desire to go above and beyond for whoever you are helping will be a normal part of your dynamic contribution.

Responsibilities:
Manage scheduling coordination for all Installation and service projects as well as managing all scheduling conflicts.
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to clients, sales, service and installation teams
Keep the Production Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
Effectively field and troubleshoot service calls via phone or email at the Network Operation Center (N.O.C.).
Communicate effectively with the logistics department around product and material availability
Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude

Project Manager

Reports to: Installation Manager

The project manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Email resume and cover letter to [email protected]

Roles:

  • Work closely with sales engineer to achieve handoff of project and establish trust/rapport with client. Keep sales engineer apprised of the daily project activities/changes as necessary.
  • Charting out the project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements and selecting project participants.
  • Bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.
  • Development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflict.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the ESC project from start to finish.
  • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
  • Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking if team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project
  • Ensure that ESC activities move according to predetermined schedule.
  • Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
  • Communicate effectively with the people responsible for completing various phases of the project.
  • Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers.
  • Monitor the progress of the ESC activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all parties.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
  • Periodic inspection of ESC sites.
  • Ensure project documents are complete.
  • Identify the elements of project design and ESC likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
  • Serve as a key link with the clients and liaison with sales engineers and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto client.

Warehouse Associate

Position Description – Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Installation Manager

The warehouse associate is responsible for all purchasing, receiving and warehouse management. They will report directly to the Installation Manager and works closely with the Project Coordinator or Sales Engineer (scope dependent) to determine what needs to be ordered at certain stages of projects.

Roles:

 

  • Purchasing all product required for upcoming and ongoing projects. This means working closely with the Project Coordinator or Sales Engineer to determine job specific needs.
  • Receiving all product that has been ordered and shipped through FedEx, UPS, USPS, Lasership and all TL/LTL and other couriers
  • The Warehouse Associate will maintain the warehouses cleanliness and product placement. This means having all product that has been received placed in appropriate job start piles for ease of access and delivery on project deployment. (Rough/Trim/Finish/Punch/Service)
  • Maintaining vendor relationship through effective communication and handling shipment disputes in a reasonable manner.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure all product is ready to go for the next day on the day prior.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment for both the warehouse and the conference room, as well as their office and desk.
  • Forecast product needs by looking at upcoming projects on a 10 business day cycle.
  • Coordinate recycling needs for faulty equipment as well as recyclables.
  • Communicate with the appropriate personnel to find out what is needed for certain stages of a project.
  • Maintain adequate levels of stock items for quick turn-around projects and in the event something was overlooked during purchasing/deployment.
  • Ensure product pick list is completed post-purchasing and pre-deployment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ESC projects or equivalent warehouse/operations positions.

Lead Technician

Job Description

Title: Lead Technician / Service Tech 1
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Manager

Job Summary:

Works with Lead Installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned. Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.

Sales Consultant

Position Summary/Overview

Under the general direction of the Sales Manager, the Sales Consultant is directly responsible for securing new business and managing relationships with new & existing clients/customers.  He/she is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales quotas/goals, maintaining a continuous prospecting system, maintaining current knowledge of all Livewire products, services and marketing/sales skills. Responsible for calling on existing customers to increase market share and produce a maximum amount of profitable new account sales. Responsible for closing long term recurring revenue contracts and selling mid to large-scale residential and commercial integrated systems with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes and implements sales/marketing programs.
  • Responsible for achieving objectives in the region.
  • Manages or oversees management of client/customer accounts.
  • Generates client proposals, presentations and engineering documents.
  • Meets with customers at each stage of the sales process to close the sale, answer questions and provide follow-up instruction and technical assistance for all aspects of Livewire’s product and service offerings.
  • Inspection of all work in progress after rough-in and trim-out for quality control purposes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all relevant developments in the field applicable to Livewire.
  • Uses all available resources (Referrals, Route Leads, Phone Day, Cold Calls, etc.) and maintain an on-going prospecting activity and system to identify and contact new prospects for expanding the prospect base within the assigned territory.
  • Utilize and update the Livewire contact relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Complete and submits weekly progress reports of contacts made, work progress status, mileage reimbursement, etc. as required.

Candidates will possess strong character, excellent sales skills and a great attitude! Livewire’s structured sales training program will allow non-technical sales executives to succeed and excel in the company.

Requirements

4-year business degree preferred or equivalent experience in related field. Preferred 1-3 years of experience in outside sales with emphasis on new account acquisition. Willingness to work hard, demonstrate perseverance, determination and self discipline.

Previous experience with Livewire technologies, equipment leasing/sales, industrial sales, and/or advertising sales are generally relevant experience required or preferred to this opportunity.

  • B+ or higher credit score
  • Must reside within 50 mile radius of Richmond, VA
  • Out-of-pocket expenses (mileage, meals, etc.) will be reimbursed within reason and other expenses will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
