Help! My TV is showing picture but no sound.
Resolution: Try turning everything off and back on again with your remote.
Suggested Tip: From your app, select “Reset TV”
My TV isn’t displaying a picture.
Resolution: Make sure the TV has been set to the correct input using the input or source button on the factory or cable box remote control. For universal remotes, try turning everything off and back on again.
Suggested Tip: From your app, select “Reset TV”
My remote isn’t controlling anything.
Resolution: Have you changed the batteries lately or charged the remote? Try powering all your equipment off manually, waiting 30 seconds and powering it back on.
Suggested Tip: From your app, select “Reset Remote Control”
My cable box is operating sluggishly or frozen and I can’t control it.
Resolution: Try rebooting the cable box by removing power for 30 seconds and plugging it back in.

My video streaming media player (Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, etc.) is operating sluggishly or frozen and I can’t control it.
Resolution: Try rebooting the streaming media player by removing power for 30 seconds and plugging it back in.

I hear a beeping noise in the house. What do I do?
Resolution: If you have your security system with us, make sure it’s not one of the smoke detectors installed by your electrician. Any Livewire-related issues will show up on your security keypad or app.
Suggested Tip: We receive daily reports detailing past alerts. If you’re hearing beeping, check that it’s not coming from a smoke detector, and for a deeper investigation into the potential causes contact Livewire.
I can’t see my security cameras.
Resolution: Make sure your wi-fi is enabled on your device and try rebooting your NVR.
Suggested Tip: From your app, select “Reset NVR”
My security system says “low battery” and beeps.
Resolution: Most batteries are easy to replace yourself. Our friendly staff can help you over the phone or in person.
Suggested Tip: Check your system’s manual for instructions, or simply reach out to Livewire. We can help schedule a service to replace the battery and get your system back to full strength.
My alarm is going off and driving me nuts!
Resolution: Depending on your security system, you can either enter your code and OFF twice or use the Alarm.com app to disarm the system.
Suggested Tip: In the event of a security alert, that is not an alarm, contact Livewire for remote assistance in resolving your issue.
I can’t get on the Wi-Fi.
Resolution: Make sure your wi-fi is enabled on your device and try re-booting router and wireless access points.
